Bose 3-2-1 GS Series II (graphite)

The Bose 3-2-1 Series II DVD home-entertainment system is an updated version of the company's older 3-2-1 system. Like its predecessor, the 3-2-1 Series II uses signal processing to give the impression of surround sound from just two small satellites...

Compact system has integrated progressive-scan DVD player, AM/FM tuner, two satellite speakers, and subwoofer; delivers simulated surround-sound effects without rear speakers; easy to set up and use.

Expensive; no HDMI output; only one A/V input; proprietary cables limit speaker-placement options; lackluster sound with music.

The Bose 3-2-1 Series II DVD system does a surprisingly good surround-sound imitation with just two satellites, but it's overpriced.

Bose 3.2.1 GSX compact home theater system Review and Prices

Sure, anyone can put together a fancy home theater system, but leave it to Bose to create something entirely unique. The Bose 3.2.1 GSX takes the acclaimed 3.2.1 GS series a step further by adding a hard drive that can store up to 200 hours of music....

BOSE 321 GS Series II DVD home entertainment system review

Like some remote theological concept, sometimes the more you search for an explanation for something, the harder it becomes to find. Understanding why American audio R and D guru's BOSE have chosen Ted Rogers' famous catch phrase, 3.2.1, for their...

Look, size, sound, acoustic technology

Price, display size, no recording capacity

Another corking system from BOSE. The price is a little off putting, but the quality can't be questioned and this system will cover all your needs.

Bose 3-2-1 Series II

This is a beautifully designed system, with great features for the price.

Quick setup, well written owners guide ; Good quality sound ; Value for money

Not a true surround system ; No HDMI output ; Lack of treble response

"Lousy sound, over-hyped product"

The set up was easy.

Muffled bass, poor highs, not what you would expect from a product of this cost.

"Perfect for smaller rooms! Blows most other 5.1 systems"

Sound bounces off walls and creats a 5.1 speaker experience! I had a 7.2 system and this honestly sounds better using no space at all. just wish it read blu-ray and had more hdmi slots.

Quality sound, great looking speakers, easy to install.

Stupid price tag, ugly home centre, not blu-ray ready.

"Great sound, compact and easy to set up"

Great unit, exceeded my expectations. Did not buy mine new (long live Craigslist)so the high price issue wasn't there for me. Would buy it again and can highly recommend it.

Great sound without having to run cables everywhere and constantly tweak things. Mine did have the disc reading error. Bose tech support sent me a DVD (free) which updated the firmware and the disc reading error went away. It has been flawless since.

HDMI would have been nice but made it work with the optical cable and RGB. Maybe not top of the line but not enslaved by bluray or any of that higher end nonsense anyway.

"DVD player is the worst"

I had always heard so many good things about Bose. That is why we decided to bite the bullet and purchase this one. We have had it about 6 years. Had it installed by a reputable electronics company in town. From day one, we had problems with the DVD...

I love the sound, and the DVD player, when it works, looks great.

The sound has to be turned up to 70 or 80, and the DVD player is always sending message "reading" or "no disc, when I have tried it in cheaper DVD in the house and the disc plays great.

"Doesn't read discs, breaks down, horrible product"

I am shopping for a replacement home stereo system.

The sound is good when it works

The DVD player doesn't read most DVD's - after several months of working, it broke down. See reviews on Amazon.com for verification.
