Product Specifications

The Boston Acoustics Recepter is a high-performance AM/FM table radio that has been designed to deliver high fidelity sound comparable to the finest radios ever made. To achieve this level of performance, Boston Acoustics developed patent-pending BassTrac circuitry to deliver bass performance out of proportion to its remarkably compact size.In addition, the new Recepter Radio has tuner performance found only in the most advanced component receivers costing many times its price. Its ability to pull in weak FM stations separates it from conventional radios, and its high selectivity allows it to separate closely spaced stations clearly. Precision PLL (Phase Lock Loop) circuitry locks in stations, eliminating drift while fully exploiting the full sonic capabilities of the FM signal. The Recepter features memory tuning for up to 20 presets of AM and FM stations available in any order desired, and also incorporates two independent clock alarms that can be set for waking up to music, buzzer, or both. Snooze and Sleep functions are also provided. Battery backup retains presets and time settings even during a power outage.
