Samsung HT-C6600/XAA

Just in time for Black Friday week 2010, my 6-year-old sony DVD home theater system was starting to act up so I decided to upgrade to a blu-ray capable home theater system for my living room. I decided to get the Samsung HT-C6600 on sale that week.

This is nice for being thrown in for free when buying a 55" Samsung TV. It works, do not expect the world but it works just fine for a beginner setup.

i own everything from THX certified 7.1 surround systems to this home theater in a box. anyone who complains about the volume level etc. etc. needs to realize what this product is......its an inexpensive full featured HTIB with blu-ray and 2 HDMI...

love the apps that come pre loaded for internet and streaming video. Have issues with the touch buttons (glad they have duplicate buttons on the remote). They are finicky and do not work intuitively.

We tried 2 of these systems and stayed on the phone for countless hours with Samsung support and it was a waste of time. Neither system would connect wirelessly.

I originally bought a comparable LG product - and it was unbelievably terrible. I took it back the next day and got this product - and couldn't be happier. Great sound, looks great, easy to set up, and a great price for everything you get.
