Very stylish 3.1 design with small front speakers and no rears; center channel a nice step up over 2.1 systems; solid multimedia support via streaming network; DivX video support.

Expensive; no video inputs; sounds better on DVDs than music; terrible remote; network streaming is Ethernet only, not Wi-Fi; USB port of limited use.

If you can look past its high price--and some annoying shortcomings--the JVC DD-3 Sophisti offers elegant styling and pretty good sound for its size.

Great!

For the money (199) this is a great system. The sound fills up a small room

It is only pass through for video. You'll need Toslink cables to get the max out of this little jewel. Oh, the DVD player has very poor video resolution

enjoyable 720HD dvd graphics, elite sound quality when considering the amount of speakers. subwoofer exceeded my greatest expectation. i have yet to even try the networking aspects of this product, and i already feel like i got my money's worth
