Could be better

The sub sounds very weak even turned all the way up. The speakers with system sound cheap and tinny, I swapped them out and the system sounds richer.

An alright price I guess for the total package. My old Sony sounded much better and more inputs for the same price, but would not run HD

Limited inputs available. Would be nice if there was another HDMI and audio in

Excellent product

I highly recommend this system for anyone on a budget who just wants good quality sound with plenty of options(in this price range) for inputs and outputs

System looks and sounds fantastic for movies and games. DVD player does a great job of upconverting and passing video out HDMI. Remote is very thorough and controls my JVC tv as well. Many adjustable options to tailor the sound

No component input, receiver does not process sound coming through the HDMI input so you must use the optical or coaxial input with the HDMI port. Bass can be somewhat lacking for game play but for me is usually more than enough

Good BOOM for the buck

Beat world's largest retailer price by almost $80 even considering tax and shipping, and sounds better than the Sony system next to it which was $100 more. NewEgg Rocks On.

Sounds great across a range of volume, was on sale, arrived quickly, was easy to set up, good-looking unit with pretty blue backlights

Remote cannot be programmed to cable box or Olevia HDTV. Complaints from neighbors

Cool Home Theatre System

Overall, my room was too small to feel the true effect of its surround sound, but I'm sure if it was a little bigger, it would sound pretty sweet. I've heard a 800~ dollar speaker system at my friend's place and there's definitely a difference there if...

I connected this to my Creative X-Fi Platinum sound card via optical cable and the sound is very nice and clear. Simple and sleek design. Watching movies with this produces a nice dynamic sound

If you want strong, thundering bass for your games, this is NOT what you want. The subwoofer produces enough bass for movies, but if you're thinking of connecting to a PC, I'd suggest the Logitech or Klipsch 5.1 speaker systems which has that extra...

Awesome Home Theater In A Box

The system was easy to setup and looks very nice. It produces amazing sound quality without a lot of configuration (although it does help!). I got it for about the same price as Newegg at Walmart after my discount. Awesome system at an awesome price!...

Touch sensitive buttons are nifty ; HDMI passthrough for Dolby TrueHD ; HDMI Upconverting dvd player ; Good sound ; Lots of connections ; XM Ready ; iPod Dock ; PRICE

no multiple disc changer but not a huge deal
