The HTB-506 is totally packed with the latest features and technologies, delivering remarkable home theater performance and value in a package that's simple to set up and use. The powerful receiver (100 Watts x 6 channels) is the system's command center, and features Dolby Digital EX 6.1-channel surround sound that uses a third surround channel and speaker (included) to make surround effects more realistic than ever. The included Dolby Digital, DTS, and Dolby Pro Logic II decoders provide superb surround sound on standard 5.1-channel soundtracks. The HTB-506 is also perfect for reproducing your music. Active EQ by DSP tailors the receiver's electronics to precisely match the system's speakers, so your music (as well as a movie's dialogue and sound effects) is faithfully reproduced. All six of the system's speakers are 2-way configuration, and the left, right and center speakers feature dual 4" woofers and a Super Dome tweeter with 50kHz response that brings the most out of DVD-Audio discs. The powered subwoofer features a built-in 150-watt amplifier and 8" driver in a ported enclosure, pumping-out thunderous bass. The included Universal Pre-programmed Remote controls the receiver, your TV, VCR, DVD player, cable or satellite tuner, and select audio components.
