Netgear NeoTV (NTV300)

Netgear has been in the business of making digital media-streaming boxes longer than most of its competitors, with its MP101 audio streamer appearing way back in 2004. Of course the streaming market has changed drastically since then and the move to...

The Netgear Neo TV NTV300 offers a decent selection of programming -- including Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube, and Pandora -- and some customization of its home screen. In video quality it's mostly on par with other units of its type.

The Netgear Neo TV NTV300 is one of the cheapest streaming boxes on the market, but it doesn't offer any compelling distinguishing features compared with the Roku.

"Great alternative to (now discontinued) Slingcatcher"

Great if you have a Slingbox and want to watch it on your other TVs without a PC.

Cheapest device to stream Slingbox.

Remote control has mushy rubbery keys, Sling app is slow to respond (so no forwarding through commercials pretty much).

"Its cheap and works, but expect sub par performance."

If you need something to view slingbox on a TV for cheap, you sir have a winner here. I think if you want to use this as a daily consumption device for Netflix/youtube and other apps you would be better suited going elsewhere.

Pandora is great

Remote is frustratingly inaccurate
