Terrific Price to Performance ratio!!

I actually purchased this through a competitor (starts with an A......com) because it was cheaper by more that $50 (rare, I know!). In hindsight, I would have gladly purchased this through the egg because at $600, this HTIB is just incredible. Do not...

This HTIB setup is a perfect purchase for the price. I live in an apartment so I wanted a HTIB and not a piece-by-piece setup. I researched HTIB setups for about 4 months before pulling the trigger on this. I read reviews all over the net and decided...

Only "con", that others mentioned as well, is the included speaker wire. The included wire is 24 gauge and that is too small of a gauge to be using for this kind of setup. I purchased a spool of 100ft 16 gauge RCA speaker wire or less than $15. Do...

Amazing System!!!!!!!!!

Great for the money, 12000watts of pure digital bliss, BUY NOW!! Set your Bluray players to Linear PCM!! and your Receiver to Direct :D - One more thing, if you hear random clicks from the receiver while listening to movies at a normal level i believe...

Beautiful sound, great bass, listening modes, ipod dock, great center channel speaker, 1080p up convert any signal. Let me start off by saying that this system is exactly what i expected from onkyo. Im use to the Pioneer systems so getting to play with...

Like others said invest in a thicker speaker wire and a thicker coax cable for the sub woofer. This system runs hot when space is limited, but i rigged some computer 120mm fans blowing out from where the heat sink is on the receiver and let me tell...

One great hi-end surround sound

I bought this system for $599 through Newegg. If you have the chance to buy it DO IT. You won't be regretting the purchase once you sit down and test it out. This is a high quality system and I wouldn't expect anything less from Onkyo. Thanks Newegg...

The pros for this machine is that it does just about everything you would want. 1.4 HDMI makes it 3D capable, and thats just to start ; This is a great intro surround sound for anyone trying to get into high quality hardware. The subwoofer is amazingly...

The cons that I see so far is the lack of wiring. This system being 1200watts and built for amazing sound should have came with better speaker wire. I recommend upgrading to a 16ga or a 14ga of decent brand wire. All the cables they provide are all...

ONKYO HT-S7300 7.1-channel home theater A/V system

I have owned the system for right at 1 year and I love it. Perfect sound quality for in home use. I have the computer, Iphone and PS3 running through it. All I can say is that you won't regret getting this system

The only negative thing about the system is the small wiring they give you. Definitely have to upgrade that

Thumbs up

Looking forward to this, was doing research for 6+ months (since I sparked/grounded my last one, Samsung was my last one) Nice audio options, I did go ahead and purchase new speaker wire and banana plugs, also banana wall plates. Purchased a DVI to...

I took the plunge and ordered this on 1 November 2010 ; HDMI X 4 version 1.4a ; Component X 2 ; Analog (do not intend to use) ; Tall boy fronts ; Pass through ; OSD for easy setup (on screen display)

Not sure yet will update if I can ; Does not come with banana plugs and 14 gauge wire ; No wireless rear speaker

Awesome

Not using remote that came with it, as my TV isn't compatible. Purchased a harmony 550 - 'everything worked out better then expected'

Simply put - 'Sound Org*sm

May want to invest in better wiring, however stock will do fine for smaller rooms

ONKYO HT-S7300

It takes some time to set everything up. It took me 3 hours. But that is to be expected of such a system with so many speakers. Wires are long enough so you should not run out of wire.

I accept i am no sound expert but i feel the difference when i got everything hooked up. An immediate improvement i saw was the improvement in HD picture quality(My HD receiver is a little over 2 years old). There are clear instructions on how to make...

Gets a little hot ; Also i have noticed that sometimes when i switch on the TV, the video takes some times to show up on the screen. the sound is audible immediately ; Also when i apply the IPOD and then shift mode to watch my TV, it takes some time...

Great When it Works

You get what you pay for! Spend more and get a better quality unit with much better support/warranty.

Easy setup, sounds great

Breaks easy. Purchase July 2010. Recently started losing signal after an hour or so of use. Tried reset and replacing HDMI cable. Onkyo support was no help and said I would have to send it to an authorized repair location and pay all shipping and...

ONKYO S7300

I'm glad I went with this product, which had only been out a week when I ordered it. Newegg ha a good price on it... $699 I think. The box came quickly but was a little banged up--- the box weighs over 100lbs! But the contents were in mint condition. I...

I've had this system for almost 2 months now and I love it. Whether listening to a movie (life changing!) or music the system sounds crisp and huge. I stream music from my network and use the surround system to play it rather than my computer speakers....

Set up takes a while- be prepared to spend a few hours especially if ; You replace the cables that come with the system. I'm not audiophile- but from what I read it was a good decision to buy some 14 gauge raptor wire. In comparison the wire that came...

Great stereo

If you want a relatively inexpensive fantastic stereo (all my friends have been impressed) then get this system. you won't be dissapointed!

Great system. My friend has had an Onkyo for years so I was familiar with their quality. I have been looking into surround systems for about a year and almost pulled the trigger. Glad I waited for this refresh. Great system. Very easy to set up. Think...

Like most home theater packages it comes with very thin wire. I probably went overboard upgrading the wire to 14 gauge with bananna clips plus a better subwoofer wire. Also wish could have had option for adapter other than ipod dock since I don't own...
