Faulty DVD player

Unit was easy to install and looked great

DVD player would not read any CD/DVD. Still waiting on my replacement and I will update review at that time

DVD did not work..

The speakers are much larger than the image portrays. But Newegg was great in resolving this issue. No problems with Newegg just the product. The box was 70lb and when it arrived it was pretty much beat up (UPS delivered).

The sound was great.. for the first 15 seconds.

Nice system

Great if you want a stylish stereo/DVD player with rich rosewood veneer speakers.

Another reviewer mentioned bad reviews of the similar MCD708. I've owned a 708 for two years and I just bought the MCD709 too. They both have similar but not identical player units. The 708 only has two bookshelf speakers, no subwoofer, and 180 *less*...

Preset equalizer modes only. No 5.1 surround sound.
