Great

This is one of the best Home Theater systems I have ever seen. The sound is un beatable but the look could be better. Other wise this is a very nice system to have if you want so good quality sound! It really makes those action movies sound good.

DEFINTELY NOT SURROUND SOUND/WEAK REAR CHANNEL SPEAKERS

We have owned this system for about 2 years now. The rear speakers have always had almost nonexistant sound, regardless of adjustments we've made in the balance of the volume by lowering front and center channel volumes and trying to pump up the rears....

Great Starter System

This is the best home theater systems i have ever owned. The surround sound speakers are ver high in quality. The DVD player is ok but every once in a while white blotches show up on the screen. It does this no matter what DVD you use. Also it takes a...

Two Thumbs Up

I bought this three months ago. So far (touch wood?;) I am rather satisfied with the quality and the performance of the system. I had read negative reviews for other Philips models in here before buying this one. So I was understandably apprehensive...

Nice system

I've got MX3600D and seems to be a nice system. This system is an excellent starter+ one. Nice sound and picture (yes better than sony and panasonic) BTW Philips is the inventor of DVD I recomend this system.

MX3700D -- Sorry I spent the money.

Purchased in Dec '02. Every DVD played produces, at times, the blocky interference/distortion. In addition, the video would occasionally freeze at random spots, sometimes several times in a single movie -- it's not a layer switch. Once it paused and...
