Although it lacks Wi-Fi, multichannel outputs and USB media playback, the LX52's sublime picture and sound performance justifies the cost

The BDP-LX52 doesn't play media files from USB but it will play just about everything else

Won't play media via USB; Slow disc loading
So, grumbles aside about the lack of Wi-Fi and slow loading times; we think the LX52 is an exceptionally talented Blu-ray deck
