Samsung HT-BD2T HTIB

Audio manufacturers in the home theater sphere fall into two distinct groups. The most distinguished calling cards belong to the audio specialty brands. If you say you're using B&W speakers with an Outlaw receiver, fellow audiophiles will immediately...

Samsung HT-BD2T Blu-ray HTiB

Samsung debuted the HT-BD2T early this year with much fanfare; it was after all billed as “the world's first Blu-ray home theater (in box) system.” That was then, but now that it's no longer the lone Blu-ray HTiB, the HT-BD2's features lineup still...

We think the HT-BD2T’s sleek design looks slick, especially the curvy receiver/Blu-ray player. The system’s gloss black finish completes the impression of upscale componentry. Overall sound quality and dynamic punch are better than average. Then again,...

Samsung HT-BD2T Blu-ray Home Cinema System

The Samsung Blu-ray Home Cinema System not only plays your movies in Full HD, it also provides you with 7.1-channel speakers for the ultimate cinema feel. We pull out our favourite couch, sit down, and put this home theatre in a box to the test.

Easy to install; Blu-ray capabilities; 7.1-speakers for surround sound; Great sound reproduction

No audio calibration; No fine tuning of treble and bass; Wires everywhere means users would have to think of a clever way to keep it clean; Not upgradable to support BD-Live

Think before you buy samsung

We purchase a HT-BD2T system when we purchased our tv unfortunately we now wished we have never bought it because as soon as you turn it on it makes this loud girding noise coming from the blue ray player, this only started to happen after the warranty...

Excellent

I was in the market to replace my Panasonic [dvd] home theatre] and was looking to minimise my $$ spend. finally came across a few options ~$600 mark. Then I say the Samsung system. For a few $$ more I could get a Blu Ray system. Works Great and now...

Value for Money; elegant looking system; all in one unit; cute word promting. Cabling from units clip into speakers [not plugs that could limit options when mounting]

Time taken to start unit ie when unit if 'off' ejecting dvd takes ~25 seconds. no seperate adjustment of subwoofer levels on remote. Only 1 HDMI and no ethernet connectivity for BD-Live action.
