"Didn't last even 2 years. Minimal to moderate use"

For the price we paid it should have lasted longer than 2 years. I thought Samsung was known for its quality. I hope the 52" TV we bought at the same time lasts longer!

When it worked, it worked well

Burned up with minimal to moderate DVD use, usually just turned on for the pass through to the TV. Started smoking and did a meltdown - less than 2 years old.

"very disappointing for so many reasons."

When watching DVDs the audio is often very quiet when dialog is being played so you turn it up and then when the musical score or sound effects come in they are way too loud. We have to have the remote in hand for every movie and are turning it up and...

Almost every I would expect of this unit either is painfully slow or doesn't work properly. see below.

"Second one I try. Totally disapointed..."

I have this piece of junk for over three months now. I had another one previously that i kept for two weeks and thought it was defective so i returned it to buy another one having absolutely the same problems. Still don't know why i did this.

Great sound. I naver had HDMI problems. That's about it...
