Good floor-standing speakers, decent surround-sound approximation

Only 1080i video output, DVD upscaling is imperfect

For music, TV and movie audio the Sharp HT-DV50H is good for a stereo system. Its picture quality isn't as good as a dedicated DVD or Blu-ray player, but as an all-in-one system it would be a good accompaniment to a budget LCD television.

The Sharp looks impressive, but it isn't quite up to scratch in performance terms

Rich, colourful images ; fine picture quality ; striking main speakers

Looks awesome, sound quality is great, Easy to install

Shame it doesn't use AQUOS link as I bought it to compliment my AQUOS tv. Sub is bigger than expected and is difficult to place in small room although sound quality is great
