Sony BDV-EF220

 

Plays every media type I throw at it; MKV, AVCHD, Mpeg4, and MP3, WAV and WMA. Blu-Rays are detailed and sharp, and play smootly, unlike my previous Samsung 2.1 system! DVD's are also much better playing on the Sony. I haven't tried the internet option...

Just a niggle really; IF you leave a USB stick in (with music or video files), and turn the system off, when its turned on again it can't play music - it comes up with a message saying it can't read any files. Removing the USB & pushing it in AFTER...

Sony BDV-EF220

 

Noise from the DVD player is very intrusive. You can hear it in silent parts and have to turn up the volume when low sounds are being played. No point buying it.
