Bearing in mind it is a 2.1 system, I for one do miss the rear speakers as I feel you do lose the drama in some action movies. Unless you are unable to have rear spekers I wouldn't recomend not having them

Superb Blu-ray quality and the 2.1 dolby Digital sound if very good. I've replaced my old 5.1 system with this and I'm very happy. The system also works via (CEC) with my Sharp LED TV and automatically turns on/off extra. Very happy with the system
