If you own a Bravia and movies are your main criteria, the Sony DAV-F500 makes a lot of sense. Its video upscaling produces quality images, but music lovers will be disappointed.

Great looking upscaled 1080p DVD picture quality ; Expandable S-AIR wireless capability ; Bravia Sync HDMI connectivity

Plastic-y construction ; No Blu-ray playback ; Doesn't cut it with music ; Lots of wires for a wireless system

Conclusion Used with a Sony Bravia TV, this system makes sense if you want to keep the complete AV package "in the family". While the picture quality and movie surround sound are impressive, its poor audio quality with music and plastic construction...

For watching dvds its awesome!, but when wanting to plug in, an xbox, a set top box and anythign else, apple tv etc its a bit annoying as the is only 1 RCA in and one digital in. Im would have loved an HDMI in also..
