You would think Sony would know how to build a DVD player but the one that comes with this system is the worst

Easy to setup. Floor stands for speakers. Sleek look and design. Awsome sound. Sony quality

Used monster speaker wire. Used monster Component Video. Used monster subwoofer Cable

Easy to install. Looks great

I took my one month old unit back to the store because my DVD wasn't working properly. I was given another unit. 6 months have passed and I'm experiencing simular problems with my second unit. I'm a big Sony fan, but there Dream is my Nightmare

I went into Tweeter and they had the DAV-FC8 hooked up to an Elite Pro1110HD plasma display (i.e. the best plasma display on the market as of 2004, only $12k). The two are very nice together. I ask the store rep what the difference is between the DAV-FC8

You pay to have a good quality system. And you'll want a good TV to complement it (if you don't want plasma, check out the Sharp Aquos line of LCDs)
