The Sony HMZ-T2 may look like something out a Daft Punk video but inside there's some seriously premium tech designed for a quality 3D experience

Truly immersive gaming ; Bar-setting 3D performance ; Incredibly easy setup

Hugely expensive ; Fiddly design flaws ; Only 720p

At £999 the HMZ-T2 is well and truly priced as an extravagance, despite being marketed as an update to an already well-established consumer product it's hard to shake off the feeling that this is still in some ways a prototype.
