Sony HTP-BD3IS review

Recession causing you to rethink your cinema outlay, or just want a small-room system?

Blu-ray performance and sub-sat integration

Struggles when the action gets full-on and complicated ; The subwoofer looks like a dog ; BD slow

A small and interestingly styled home cinema system that struggles when things get a little full on but still offers good Blu-ray performance

Sony HTP-BD3iS review

This full 5.1 Blu-ray home cinema system has satellite speakers the size of golf balls. So is it a hole-in-one or ‘fore'!

It feels a tad cobbled together, but the BD3iS delivers great visuals and physics-defying sound from its golf ball-sized speakers
