If sound bars are the ultimate "good enough" home audio solution, the Vizio SB4021M-A1 ($270 street price) feels like the typical good-enough sound bar. It's solid in just about every respect, with a sleek design, a good remote, and above-average sound...

The Vizio SB4021M-A1 is an affordable sound bar, with above-average looks, sound, and features. The included remote is a step up over most, with a simple button layout and a substantial feel. Its sound quality is particularly good with movies,...

The SB4021M-A1 lacks built-in Bluetooth, which will be more common in 2013 sound bars. And while its overall sound quality is good, it's doesn't compare with the best we've heard over the last year.

The Vizio SB4021M-A1 hits a nice blend of features, design, and performance for its price, but better sound bars are coming in a few months.

As if pulling the trigger on a new TV purchase during the holidays wasn't difficult enough already, the state of affairs in TV adds a new complication for shoppers this year: By and large, built-in TV speakers sound terrible.

Exponentially better than built-in TV speakers ; Pleasant treble response ; Impressive bass with included wireless subwoofer ; Capable of extremely loud, low-distortion sound

Optical cable not included ; Sub gets boomy near corners ; Midrange a bit thin for music listening

Provides a listening experience that comes dangerously close to some of the $500 sound bar systems we’ve tested this year.

"Overall, nice entry level sound bar."

Good sound for the price. Don't expect deep sounding bass especialy at low levels

Great clarity. Good sound, especially when turned up loud for bass to kick in.

Cannot hook up via digital audio that I can determine.
