I had looked locally for a nice chest for my silverware. I could have saved a lot of time and gas if I had ordered online.

This cabinet is high quality at a very reasonable price. The lined drawers are perfect for storing serving pieces. Initially there is a rather strong laquer smell but once it sits out the smell goes away.

This is a nice piece, looks as described,but I wish the seller had stated that the chest is suitable for luncheon-size flatware. It's too small for dinner-size flatware.

but everything was how we guessed it would be. Open the lid and theirs sheaths for knives in the lid, rest of the flatware on the floor, and the drawer underneath pulls out for the extra bits and pieces. Ample for an average set. Nice velvet interior...
