Great sound

Using this soundbar for a TV in the bedroom, so we're not really missing the subwoofer, we could always go and buy one if we really wanted to. I like the SPDIF connection on the back, that was the selling feature for me.

Great Sound but needs Subwoofer

My TV "downgrades" my HDMI signal to 2-Ch stereo, sounded horrible when I first hooked it up. Direct connections from my devices give full surround, unbelievable difference in sound quality. Make sure you are giving this thing a full surround signal...

Great sound for an inexpensive soundbar! I did not have a problem with my TV remote (doesn't interfere with my 42" Samsung's IR port.) My Logitech Harmony remote supports their remote also, no need to learn the remote's commands

Only has three digital inputs, OK for me but you might need more. Really needs a full surround input for good quality sound. (2-channel doesn't sound very good)

Good - clean simple upgrade to LED/LCD tv.

I havn't really cranked it to see how loud it gets or to see about distortion but it gets much louder than I need it in my apartment without any distortion. Would be nice if I could easily play and charge my I-phone on it through a side usb port, not...

I paired this with a Toshiba LED/LCD tv with notoriously weak speakers in a 16x20 room. I have my TiVo, X-box, and Blu-ray HDMI connected to my TV and the TV digital audio out to the Yamaha. Now for the pros ; Their is no comparison in sound from the...

Not many advanced audio controls such as equalizers but in my case it is not needed ; Volume changes are a little tight. As in to get an appreciable difference in volume I must press up or down several times
