eh.

Any cheap speakers would be a better replacement than the ones that came with it. At the time (almost 2.5 years ago, this was a bargain). Receiver and sub are great!

Bought for the receiver. Front headphone port disables amps automatically. It works (mostly)

After a few months a speaker developed a rattle and tinny noise. Overall the speakers are a bonus for when your in a bind but replace ASAP, the sub is great

Easy to setup and sounds great

Also great service from Newegg. First time ive have dealt with them

Great sound and works great with Blue Ray DVD player and Directv. My old unit was still working but needed to upgrade and for the price I couldn't resist. My Mancave is only a 10 by10ft room so really didn't need a high dollar system

Great sound

I am very pleased that I can choose different styles of sound options this system offers. Sometimes it hard to choose which I like the best. Its not a "high end" Theater system, but it has high end, crystal clear sound.

Easy setup. Excellent sound. PS3 sounds great. Movies and television sound great. Excellent price. I thought about other sound systems (Sony, Onkyo) but I took a chance on this system. I definitely recommend this Home Theater System

Nice system

I ordered other speaker wire from "elsewhere", but was taking so long to get delivered, I used the enclosed speaker wire instead which is fine. The wire itself was small enough in diameter, I just used a ballpoint pen (with the tip retracted) to stuff...

Inexpensive ; 4 HDMI inputs 1080 ; 2 optical audio inputs ; Powered Subwoofer ; Tons of different sound settings

The full operators manual is on a CD making setup a readup and go situation ; It comes with 100 feet of speaker wire that's a little difficult to keep polarity with since one lead is only slightly lighter than the other on one side at that

If looking at the Onkyo just say no

Phone support, ease of set up, length of speaker wire, blutooth, iPod, 4 HDMI inputs (unlike the Onkyo), instant connection with any HDMI system. Oh yeah and phenomenal adio quality

Low budget Home Theatre of the year

I highly recommend this as replacement for computer speakers. Although making the 5.1 sound work in w7 x64 trough SPDIF could be chalenging (I use AC3filter for media playback to do just that).

High quality speaker set and great quality sub for movies and music ; Easy to use receiver with high quality DA ; Good enough for poor mans 5.1 reference speaker setup ; Blu-Ray HDMI audio

The included sub produce noise during some high-volume situations (certain explosions in movies for example). I believe it is a design flaw, as I own two of these systems. Since it can be noticed only at very few occasions, I wouldnt take egg for it
