Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 review

Meet the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760, the successor to Logitech's first solar keyboard, the K750, which earned a CNET Editors' Choice.

The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 has a sleek and stylish design that complements Apple products. An integrated solar panel can charge the keyboard from any light source (including a lamp), so there's no need to replace batteries. And the K760...

Though it's fairly compact, it's a little bulky to carry around with you and no protective carrying case is provided.

With its built-in solar-powered battery, the sleek Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 will save you money in the long run and is a better deal than Apple's Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard.

Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 review

Like the K750, the K760 uses the light in your office or home to charge the keyboard's internal, rechargeable battery. In fact, in a well-lit room, the battery's charge will rarely dip below full, as even dim ambient light is enough to maintain a full...

Nice feel; No batteries; Multiple bluetooth connections

A lower-priced, higher-functioning alternative to a wireless Mac keyboard. Styling matches the Mac. The coolest thing is the way you can toggle Bluetooth control to multiple devices, like your phone. Allows me to use this as a keyboard for my Droid...

- Better tactile feel and ergonomics than Apple keyboard. - Solar power means never changing batteries - Ability to toggle between multiple bluetooth signals with one button is cool. - Spilled water on it twice, and it still works (not recommended)

- You have to remap the Expose function from F3 to F4. Logitech website has instructions on how. - The solar panels show smudging easily. - Keys not backlit.
