Polycom VVX 1500 review

Video calling doesn't necessarily mean using large dedicated suites - it can be done from a phone that sits neatly on your desk. We try out Polycom's VVX 1500.

The VVX 1500 has a great range of features and is easy to configure. Full support is currently limited under most SIP server platforms, but video call routing is easily handled via a TFTP contacts directory, so this doesn't put too much of a crimp on...

Polycom VVX1500 review

Polycom have been in the phone and video conferencing business for many years - but what has been missing in their product range has been a reasonably priced desktop phone supporting video calling. Until now.

Polycom SoundPoint IP 330 review

VoIP phones could bring significant cost savings and flexibility to your business. We take a look at one of the latest enterprise calls SIP handsets from Polycom.

But is this phone the one to choose for your company's big push into VOIP? Well it certainly ticks all the boxes in terms of its core abilities. It's robust, well, made and easy to use, so most users should be able to take full advantage of its...

Great phone

The is a nice wow factor to these phones. They look pretty sexy. Make sure you have a POE switch able to power this.

Great phone. Works perfectly with Lync (make sure you update the phone - this is done via lync). Nice big screen ; Unlike the cx500 it has a usb connection to the PC so you can dial from your computer (outlook, lync client, anything with a phone number...

Uses a lot of power for a POE phone

Worst Phone Ever

Very nice looking phone with a potentially great feature set

Does not come with a power cord or any way I could find on the Polycome website to order one. Requires a PoE switch which is not available in my office. That requirement should be explicitly stated

SOUNDPOINT PRO.SE-220

This is the best home office phone I could find, and I''m very happy with it. I sit in conference calls frequently, and I needed a really good speakerphone with mute capabilities and good volume control. It is a little pricey, but there is nothing else...

Best microphone and speaker out there for a home office setup. Duplex speakerphone. Buttons feel robust, phone is well-constructed and simple.

LCD display doesn''t have backlight.

Highly recommended for someone who needs Polycom quality in a home office.

I work from home, and all of my meetings are done on the phone. With this phone''s large speaker and microphone, I no longer struggle to hear on conference calls

Registration card address was bad and post office returned it to me. Speaker doesn''t work as well with one-to-one calls -- good reason to have the nice hand set
