Good phone put some down falls. first of all your first speed number shows up on up on your extensions and there is no way to get get off. The ringer volumn is terrible unless it is completely silent you wont hear this if you are standing at the water...

I've started using these recently in our environment, testing them in-department before deploying, and everyone in my department loves them! The sound quality is fantastic, and the display is very user-friendly and useful, as well as looks good.

Freaky great little boxes. Loud and clear performance and the portability is fantastic. Never thought of using them as audio points for overflow rooms. Will have to try that!

We currently use the IP550 for all of our attorneys and management staff. It has many great features and overall it is a good product. If you are using Polycom phones, I would recommend the IP550.

We currently use this phone for our receptionist. We love the sidecars! It has allowed our receptionist to continue using the new VoIP system with similar look and feel. It would be nice if the sidecars were available on lower models.

This is a great phone like all of the soundpoint series (except the 300's). You really don't need this phone though. You want the 550 as it does most everything this one will do. How many phone calls do you take at one time anyway?
