I just received this as a Christmas gift, it is playing in my kitchen, blaring holiday music. It's good quality sound and I'm a happy camper.

Funny thing I bought this at a Goodwill store for 10.99. This is an awesome buy. It is a basic player for the Zune. Yeah I wish the remote could do more, but its simple and easy. I really enjoy the player. The sound quality is good

I found nothing wrong with this little player

I bought the unit for my daughter's zune primarily for a charging station and also for the external speakers. The unit had difficulty recognizing the zune and after a couple of times inserting/removing the zune it recognizes the zune. This has been the...

Audio quality good for what you pay for

Product has difficulty recognizing the zune

If you have 1st gnereation Zune, I suppose is fine. If it's 2nd generation Zune, good luck. Waste of my time. Contacted tech support which acknowledged that I would need an adapter, so there is duplicity in the advertising (box outside and literature...

Portable and nice sound (for radio)

It's advertized to support 1st and 2nd generation Zune, with the box stating Zune80 is supported. Inside, the adapter provided does not work with the Zune80

I use it every day at work and I'd buy it it again n a heartbeat... Unless you want to spend ALOT more money, just buy it. Be carefull when placing your Zune in it and you'll love the big sound ut ofa little box.

Small size, not too pricey (paid $100 cdn). Sounds GREAT for my appllication. I don't play it at much 18-22 (out of a max of 30) volume. The bass boost and surround sound makes some song sound better and others sound crap, depends on the mix

I'd like it if had more Zune control features on the remote. Lilke others I have to be carefull when connecting - two hands, slow and carefull like but I've NEVER had a disconnest as others have reported

Altec Lansing inMotion im414 ZUNE Speaker Dock

Radio on the Altec worked

works with the 80GB Zune

I bought this "combo deal"

Consumer review by:

Good for office, but not home

I love my 80gb Zune. The interface and devise are very good, and the market place is starting to get much better. The real problem is the lack of speaker dock's availible. This one is perfect for your desk at work, once you get used to the buggyness of...

Great for your cubicle because it gives you decent sound, but it doesn't carry far if you don't want it to. Decent sound. Fits all Zune's

Buggy software. I bought two of these for home and office. The one for home died after 8 months for no reason. Sometimes when you plug the zune in, the im414 will just shut off. There's no play button on the dock. Remote is okay, but you can't navigate...

SUCKS

I could use the old one at parties but this one is drowned out by the crowd.

see cons

Only new features are things that you don't need. Aux port (Great...I'm pretty sure you can just plug the zune into the zune port) and Radio (Once again the Zune already has a radio feature). It's also NOWHERE near as loud as the old model that was...

Limited remote options, no alarm clock, sound is good

Overall I like the iM414, although I'd never pay $... for it, I got mine quite a bit cheaper. The sound is pretty good and the FM antenna picks up stations well. However, when the Zune is docked, you cannot scroll through the remote to change albums,...
