Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro

When a new child is born, the older one gets neglected, especially if the little one is not so little and looks almost exactly like its older sibling. The younger child always gets all the attention, eats all the good food and is generally loved by...

Personally, I love this dock for the quality of sound it provides. I also like the video output function, although I really don’t know how often I will use it. But I hate the fact that it’s not loud enough for my liking. I also don’t like the ‘Micro’...

Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro

Strong audio performance. Attractive Design. Can run on batteries for portability. Full iPod navigation on remote control

Not all that travel-friendly given its large size. Requires eight C-size batteries to operate without AC power

Harman Kardon Go + Play II iPod Speakers Review

Portable music is really driven by the players these days, so it's difficult to find a system with good quality speakers that can be literally picked up and taken with you to a... party at the beach, for example. When we took at look at the Harman...

Harman Kardon Go + Play Review and Prices

Few iPod speaker systems on the market today seem to find that perfect balance of features and sound. The Harman Kardon Go + Play, however, combines amazing sound, advanced iPod controls and cool looks in one package. The Go + Play boasts a smart,...

Review: Harman Kardon Go + Play: Form hampers function

Posted by Dr. MacensteinHarman Kardon has made a name for itself producing some of the best sounding (and most expensive) audio devices available. Their Go + Play iPod speakers maintain both of those proud traditions, but regrettably, some poor design...

Sounds great, doesn't distort at loud volumes, can be battery powered, portable

Handle placement makes navigating iPod difficult, cannot watch iPod video directly from the unit, cannot navigate iPod with remote

Harman Kardon designed a great sounding, great-looking portable speaker system with the Go + Play, but unfortunately the form hampers function. For a speaker designed specifically for the iPod (and the video iPod at that) it is a shame that accessing...

Review: Harman Kardon Go + Play High-Performance Portable Loudspeaker Dock for iPod

Whether you'll think Harman Kardon's new Go + Play ($350) is an excellent or merely a very good new iPod speaker system will mainly come down to one question: how many alternatives you've heard. Having tested virtually all of the major brand iPod...

The best-sounding transportable iPod speaker system yet released, with impressive detail across the entire sound spectrum, particularly in the bass department, and capable of doing pretty well at high volumes. Includes a good RF remote control, simple...

Odd iPod dock design makes screen hard to see ; remote's complexity-adding iPod menu navigation features are thereby worthless. Despite boombox functionality, system isn't as ruggedized or iPod-protective as some competing options, and its modern looks...

Listen, i'm musician, i have a music studio! I compared to many others at Bestbuy, the seller played all high power brands, it was not too bad, but the Apples ipod hi-fi had distortion at mid volume and horrible higher volumen, and all frequencies were...

Harman/Kardon Go + Play

If you listen to this Unit with your favorite music at a 200-250 price range there is nothing on the market that I have found that is even close(the top of line Bose $650 is a little better but not woth an extra $400)

If you like great sound this unit can not be beat. It can fill 3 large rooms with rich sound. I Touch compatible GREAT Bass with no distortion. High are very CRISP. I bought for$ 200. . The remote works well and this unit is compact

Batteries are Standard D cell(8) so its heavy with them in. A rechargable Lithium in the unit would be worth $50-80. The I Touch does not sit flat ( a little bit to big for the indented well). An optical audio in would be usefull instaed of plug

It looks great and I like that it finally has space for my iPhone

The sound of the original was INCREDIBLE. "If it ain't broke don't fix it"... why did they change the speakers in this? As stated in the review, this no longer sounds as good as the original

Getting a demo of this device is much much better than any review. I actually personally had compared it with BOSE series II sound dock and believe me Bose was nowhere near. Being a Bose lover its really painful to say this but the truth is truth. If...

Good sound balance

Well for a system like this there is not much to say about as a con but placement of ipod is quite awkward which some people might think but for me it keeps ur device more safe

So more on the sound. Like I said, the original will blow any sound dock at this price out of the water (Bose... NOT EVEN CLOSE).

Product Specifications

Understated, sublimely functional industrial design. Unsurpassed performance and ease of use. From its flat, protective iPod cradle and smart RF remote to its arching stainless-steel handle, this is the portable loudspeaker dock that only Harman Kardon could build. Harman Kardon Go + Play delivers tight, thunderous bass from high-excursion low-frequency drivers. Just as important, the highs are distinct and crystal clear. Go + Play is AC- or battery-operated, so it will go anywhere your iPod or other music player goes - and make your favorite music sound better when it arrives. And as a multimedia entertainment center, it even sends your iPod photos and video to a TV monitor. But however and wherever you use it, it's the sound that sets Go + Play apart.
