Logitech Pure-Fi Express

The Logitech Pure-Fi Express is a smartly designed iPod speaker that will make a worthy addition to your desk or nightstand, but those who like to blast the tunes should look elsewhere.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Express iPod speaker offers an understated design with a small desktop footprint, and it sounds decent when played at low volumes. It includes some nice extras, such as a padded case, a wireless remote, and a line-in cable.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Express is too boxy to be considered truly travel-friendly. The unit is lacking in bass, and the audio quality is subpar at high volumes.

Logitech Pure-Fi Elite

Excellent value. Full-bodied sound. Sleek styling. Includes an AM/FM tuner and auxiliary input.

Enormous power brick. Erratic button and remote response. No alarm clock.

'Minor issues aside, Logitech does a nice job of updating its already great-sounding AudioStation\x97and it now comes at a significantly lower price.'

Logitech Speaker System Z906 First Look

The Logitech Speaker System Z906 is a $400 5.1 system with a basic receiver. The speakers are all wall mountable, the "sub" promises 165 watts of "pure" bass, and the remote is wireless.

Is the Logitech Speaker System Z906 for everyone? Of course not. But if you are on a serious budget and are looking for a $400 5.1 system with a basic receiver, we're betting you could do a lot worse. The speakers are all wall mountable, the "sub"...

Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus iPod Speaker Dock

Logitech has a wide variety of iPod/iPhone speaker docks in their lineup, and they have focused on ease-of-use and affordability with their Pure-Fi Express Plus. Coming in at around $80-$100 USD online, it features a remote control, built-in alarm...

Included remote control, decent styling, relatively inexpensive

Sound quality leaves a lot to be desired, size is not easily portable

It’s a definite improvement over laptop speakers, but the iPod/MP3 speaker dock market is a crowded one. There are other units I have reviewed which tickled my fancy much more than Pure Fi Express Plus.

Pure-Fi Express Plus

There are so many important features missing from the Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus. There is no radio, the alarm is only a buzzer, you can't wake up to your iPod, and the sound quality is extremely low. Despite a small and fantastic design, this iPod...

This is a small, sleek iPod clock radio and is easily portable

There is no radio with this docking station

We do not recommend this product because of its lack of important features.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Express is a smartly designed iPod speaker that will make a worthy addition to your desk or nightstand, but those who like to blast out tunes should look elsewhere

Understated design with a small desktop footprint ; Sounds decent at low volumes ; Includes some handy extras, such as a padded case, a wireless remote and a line-in cable

Too boxy to be considered truly travel-friendly ; Lacking in bass ; Audio quality is subpar at high volumes

In order to control playback from afar, you'll need to use the included infrared remote, which includes a power button, a Play/Pause key, track shuttle buttons and volume controls. Simple, but effective. As mentioned before, the Logitech Pure-Fi...

Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus review

Logitech's relatively inexpensive Pure-Fi Express Plus is a compact -- and portable -- iPod/iPhone speaker system. It's perfect for casual listening at home or on the road, but keep in mind that despite its omnidirectional design, this unit isn't built...

Price ; Battery-power mode ; Built-in clock ; Omnidirectional speakers ; GSM-shielded iPod dock

No AM/FM radio ; No built-in rechargeable battery ; Distorts at higher volumes

On the other hand, we can't help but feel that most buyers will be better off with the iM600, as it has a built-in rechargeable battery, FM radio and superior sound quality. We expect the Pure-Fi Express Plus will be the best fit for those who are on...

Portable and solid-sounding, it's a great iPod dock for the money

Consumer review by:

A little bit expensive but very nice quality.

Excellent sound quality playing music and movies and games. When the thunder rumbles in a game I can feel it vibrate my chest. It really amps up the experience. The remote is a nice feature but because I use these for my desktop pc I haven't really...

Excellent system I replaced a z5500 system w z906

Excellent performance for the price. I've had this system for over a year now and it's amazing. Anyone who hears the 5.1 surround sound is amazed by the quality. The price is great I just wish the system had 3 Optical ports instead of 2 so I don't have...
