Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus iPod Speaker Dock

Logitech has a wide variety of iPod/iPhone speaker docks in their lineup, and they have focused on ease-of-use and affordability with their Pure-Fi Express Plus. Coming in at around $80-$100 USD online, it features a remote control, built-in alarm...

Included remote control, decent styling, relatively inexpensive

Sound quality leaves a lot to be desired, size is not easily portable

It’s a definite improvement over laptop speakers, but the iPod/MP3 speaker dock market is a crowded one. There are other units I have reviewed which tickled my fancy much more than Pure Fi Express Plus.

Pure-Fi Express

There are so many important features missing from the Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus. There is no radio, the alarm is only a buzzer, you can't wake up to your iPod, and the sound quality is extremely low. Despite a small and fantastic design, this iPod...

This is a small, sleek iPod clock radio and is easily portable

There is no radio with this docking station

We do not recommend this product because of its lack of important features.

Good price for a lot of sound

I bought the Logitec Pure-Fi for my daughter's 15th birthday. She had been using a cassette adaptor with an old boom box. She was thrilled! It keeps her iPod charged and she loves having the remote. Overall, it has good sound, and pretty deep bass...

better than expected

Purchased as Christmas gift for 21-year old son's bedroom. Sound quality is better than expected. Real stereo separation and more bottom than anticipated.

Not worth the price based on features

I received this as a replacement from Logitech for my Pure-Fi Anytime. They can both be found online for around the same price. This one actually was on sale for 55 after 10 MIR. For around the same price the other unit gets much louder has a radio...

Simple design. small. can run with batteries. basic remote. Knob control

max volume is low. no radio no sleep timer

Good little stereo to take on the road...

This is a good little stereo/dock to take on the road when I'm staying at hotels...I put it bedside...it has decent remote control, and the sound is good for what this is, but certainly not the highest quality...even after adjustments to the ipod, bass...

good, but limited

good, but limited

First, I just want to point out that the "video out" port on the back does NOT work. If you want to be able to have a device that will connect your iPod to a TV to watch video, look elsewhere! Now that that's out of the way, the speakers themselves...
