Disappointing

Disappointing

I bought this iron to replace my old one because it tended to leak water through the iron plate and onto my clothes. Unfortunately, this iron does the same thing. I thought maybe it was user error but it's not a complicated iron and I don't see any way...

Just Fine... Until It Wasn't

This B&D F1060 iron worked well for five months, then began leaking so badly that it became impossible to use. My iron is used almost exclusively for work clothes -- that is, regularly but gently -- so a five-month life isn't adequate.

This is a nice little iron for the money. It doesn't steam alot so you have to push the steam button if you want a lot of steam. My last iron was a more expensive Black and Decker and it steamed a lot on it's own. I do a lot of sewing and prefer...

I am very satisfied with the heating of this iron. The mist spray is one of the best. I would recommend this product and the price is right!

It's a fine iron.

I like it. I don't do a lot of ironing. But it seems to work fine. It has an interesting, high pressure, blast of steam. The first time you use this feature don't point it at your clothes, though. It blasted out a bunch of white stuff the first time I...

Dead after 6 months

Dead after 6 months

I purchased this in February of 2010 based on the positive Consumer Reports and Amazon reviews. For 6 months the iron did work fine, however it died (won't turn on and heat up) when plugged in as of August of 2010. There was no stress on the cord and...
