It seems to be just what I need. I had a travel iron that is no longer working. Hope this one works as well.

Oliso TG-1000

I've had this for about 2 years now and it just died last night.  While I owned it, I never got accustomed to having to hold onto the handle at all times while ironing or pressing or else the feet will lift it up automatically.  Since I have arthritis...

Black & Decker D1600BD Iron with Auto Shut-off

I really thought this iron was great, at first. Having previously owned a B&D QuickPress iron (utter crap), I had resolved to leave B&D on the shelf. Which is where it belongs, apart from in the landfill. Then I wandered into Superstore's ...

Breadman Steam Advantage Iron

In the home, it's roughly like a DECT phone; in the office it could save a few pennies. Overall, it's a good proof of the voice-on-Wi-Fi concept, but most people will find it offers limited benefits over the alternatives.

Philips PowerLife Steam

Have been through many Phillips irons and always been happy however this one quickly became covered with back, sticky residue which despite trying a few different chemicals to remove is firmly stuck. While searching for this solution I came across a...

Rowenta Precision Ironing Board 18x49-in.

I like this ironing board because it sits a little higher which makes ironing somewhat easier. I also like its simple design and resting place for the iron itself.

Philips 7300 Series Pressurised Steam Generator

Bought just over 2 yrs ago, now iron spontaneously switches off during a very short ironing cycle - lucky to get one piece of clothing done without this occurring.

Philips PerfectCare Pure Steam Generator

Found this review after commenting on another model. Not much point in making comments here as the Philips monitor merely suggests calling the helpline. Helpline not too helpful, albeit quite friendly, issue not resolved yet. Unhappy with this product...

SharpTek ST-2000 Cordless Iron with Auto Shut-off

When my sister told me she wanted a cordless iron for Christmas I was worried about finding a good one since I had never heard of such a thing. My doubts were well founded too, it seams most cordless irons suffer greatly from lack of heat and quick...

CONAIR FSP5 Fabric Steam Press

I admit it, I like many other people, hate ironing. In fact, I don't even own an iron. The last time I even touched an iron was when I was in Basic Training for the Air Force and I am pretty sure that I only touched an iron once even while I was there....

Black & Decker First Impressions Cord Reel Iron

I (first) purchased this iron in December 2012 for about $25 and it seemed pretty good. It was easy to use and seemed to do a pretty good job. It's supposed to beep when the iron has reached temperature and is ready for use. However, the thing beeped a...

Hoover SFD4102

After 1 year and 1 month this product is now not working. I would go as far as to say it is now dangerous. The iron has stopped producing steam and there is a water leak coming from the eletrical cable connection. Hoover / Candy will only look at the...

Tefal Aquaspeed 335

Like many other reviews of various models, this relatively new, low use iron has become a liability. Even when using it continuously, it sudden shuts off, the red light flashes and won't stop flashing unless you pull the plug out and plug it in again....

Premier Housewares Candy Stripe Ironing Board, 86 x 130 x 30 cm, Pink

I wanted to buy a cheap and good product but it was only cheap. One of its legs a short and the board is inbalanced and there is possibility the iron to fall down. I wouldn't recommend it.

Smartek ST1200G

Well it's a cheap iron, but it still works fine. I haven't had too many problems with it. It's not nearly as smooth to use as a more expensive alternate, but it gets the job done. The only qualm I have with it is when I would use bursts of steam, it...

Tefal Aquaspeed 215

This iron works beautifully for me and has done for the past 3 or so years. The only downside is filling the tank at the bottom but....and doesn't everyone do this?....I don't take the iron to the tap, I use a container to fill it. I'm not sure what...
