As good as it gets

After years of spening lots of cash at the dry-cleaners, I figured I would give an iron a shot. In one second I flet the difference, I had a beautiful professional looking crease, with one swipe on linen and with steam. You can not go wrong with this...

No more Rowenta irons for me

I have owned two irons that both leaked within 18 months of use. Not worth the expense! Poor quality for the price and hype. Neither appliance was misused and I know many other former owners that concur including the sales staff at the local fabric...

Worked well within warranty period only

Overrated, overpriced, brief life expectancy for the hype

Flashing Red Light / Meltdown

Worked good for a year, then totally overheated and the red light wouldn't stop flashing. Smelled like it was about to burst into flames. Makes a good over-priced book end or paperweight; just cut the cord off.

If you don't replace it when it breaks you'll never have to iron again

You'll most likely replace it with a cheap Sunbeam that will last forever

worked well until it broke

This was the most expensive and the best iron I ever had. It worked really really well and I thought it was worth the expense. Then it broke. The problem was, it would just shut off in the middle of ironing. Repeatedly. Unusable unless I was willing to...

Worked REALLY well for 7 months

It broke after 7 months

Bought my last Rowenta

I have been using Rowenta irons for about the last 10 years.  I've had some that only lasted a little over a year and then some that lasted 2-3 years.  I would always look for sales so I would have another one on hand when the other one died!  What's...

Works good in the beginning, powerful steam

Dies after a year of use, soleplate build-up, steam only works good on high setting

Rowenta

So many good things about Rowenta in the past . Not sure if this is common with all Rowentas, or if I just received a defective product, but it definitely has scarred my image of the rowenta brand. ... Read review

Since it didn't work properly from the beginning, I have no advantages

Didn't work properly

efficient appliances are a must.

If the iron is left standing vertically then it automatically switches itself off after 8 minutes. If the iron is left standing horizontally for longer than 30 seconds then it switches itself off,and if its flipped over by mistake the appliance...

The irony of an iron: Rowenta D-Effective Iron

My wife and I had to return this iron when, just days after the warranty expired, the auto-off system died. Rowenta allowed us to replace this iron by a new one (actually, another model, this model is no longer available... no wonder why). Here's when...

It was a good iron... while it lasted

It didn't last very long.Rowenta's products suck overall
