Awesome

Use bottled or tap water for best results. Distilled or ultra-filtered makes a lot of irons(including this one) pop instead of providing steady steam. I also hear a lot less complaining on laundry days...

I would buy this product again

I purchased this specific iron to assist me with my quilting projects and household ironing. I always have a project going and I love to iron. This iron is very nice and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to iron.

I use the Rowenta Focus iron for shirts trousers, and jackets. It gives even heat plenty of steam and good weight. those 400 steam vents do a job on fabrics. Nothing bad after a weeks ownership and plenty of trials. Follow book instructions to avoid...

Does a great job!

The Rowenta DZ5080 does a great job for me! It has a extra pointy top which makes it much easier to get in small areas like around buttons, which is a big plus. Overall, a great iron.

The high quality stainless steel soleplate is attached to the heavy aluminum core in a unique way that provides an ultra smooth surface with a thin edge that can iron up to buttons, seams and delicate fabrics without snagging. Maintaining the correct temperature is key to good ironing performance and garment care. The DZ5080 has an electronic temperature control that combines sensitive electronic sensors and controls with LED lights in an easy-to use-system. Steam Advance system, the key to easier ironing. Delicate steam is used for delicate fabrics that require gentle care. High pressure steam for thicker fabrics and tough wrinkles. Steam is created under pressure ensures a deep penetration into the fabric to relax the fibers and let wrinkles be pressed out in ease. An automatic pause between bursts of steam allows the heat of the iron to remove the remaining steam and set the press.
