micromark mm52149 steam generator iron 2400w

I purchased this item about 4 weeks ago and just last night it broke. The iron will not heat up, so am not too happy, will have to go and buy a new one now and it will not be a Micromark

This iron worked great for a while, but now the handle is to hot to hold, and now I can only use it if I wear a glove. Obviously an insulation problem.

this is a replacement iron, the first one did nt work for some unknown reason, all seems to be well up to now, I like it as its light weight, presses really well gets all the creases out frist time best used when items are still damp

I think this iron is dangerous, the handle got so hot i couldnt hold it without burning myself, its going back immediately

Irons both sides at once therefore cuts ironing time, agree with other comment it does not hold enough water but i keep a jug beside be so no problem i have not experienced handle getting hot im very please with this iron......you can always send it...

it's a pain to fill up and does not take much water, also the handle gets so hot you cant touch it if you have used it for 20 mins, it should have had a rubber handle to stop this. Very poor build quality.
