Nice iron for the short term

If you MUST iron then try Rowenta

ROWENTA DX1900 I am a creature of habit and while I don't actually much like the process of ironing I do love the results and as my late mother always swore by the Rowenta brand I have always bought and used Rowenta irons. The last iron I had was...

So far so good

I purchased my first Rowenta iron about five years ago, and it was by far the best iron I have ever used. Using the settings correctly, I never burned or damaged any of my clothing, it heated up quickly, and the steam action was incredible,...

Poor Choice

I received this as a gift and it quit working within a couple months. Returned for a replacement, it had the same problem. Cord wouldn't retract, and wouldn't warm up - at all! Bought top of line professional one and the electrical cord is fraying....

Good steam action

I had used a Rowenta Powerglide before and was very happy with it's performance. Come to think of it, the spray button was no longer working.

Rowenta name and soleplate quality

auto steam function is far from a success

Rowenta Effective DX1900 Steam Iron: Excellent Design & Features

Ironing is not my forte, but I'm learning it is an essential piece of equipment to have in the laundry room. Originally we used a Christmas gift returned for store credit to purchase this from Kohl's for $69.99. We normally would not spend this kind of...

Rowenta Effective 1900

I could not find a lot of information about the Rowenta irons.

Clothes look like they have been ironed well. Ironing is not my favorite task, but this iron made the job easier.

After about 2 weeks, the iron started leaking. A lot. Around the bottom and the area where the retractable plug is located.
