The first "customers view" is very stupid. The cord , like most irons, can be wrapped around the base of the handle and the bit behind the sole plate.No iron will stand on its point!I've just purchased this iron as my old Bosch short circuited - it did...

In common with all other irons I considered there is no proper facility for cord storage unless you can find a way of storing the iron point down---unfortunately they tend to fall over

It is so good it reduced the time i spend ironing

The sole plate can get very hot and it needs the protective cover which was not included in the box. I got in touch with bosch customer services and got one sent out to me
