T -Fal Avantis 100 Burned

I bought this iron because I needed a leak proof iron. I have had it about three years. It began to leak not long after I bought it. Several weeks ago I noticed an odd smell about it. It smelled as if something might be burning. Nevertheless, I needed ...

It uses tap water, has a non-stick ironing surface, and automatic shut-0ff.

It leaked soon after I bought it.

T-Fal Avantis 100 replaces my Rowenta

This is my quest to find the “never leaking” iron to replace my “always leaking” Rowenta. The Rowenta dribbled for the last time on some silk so it was time to get a new iron.

Does not leak. Generates a lot of steam. Good long-lasting presses. Long cord. Auto-off.

Steam can leak near slide control and burn knuckles.
