Good keyboard for gaming and software dev

I had used keyboards from Northgate Omnikey and later from Creative Vision Technologies as the Avant Prime and Avant Stellar keyboards. These use mechanical tactile-feedback key switches. Now I was looking for a new keyboard having similar attributes....

Mechanical key switches provide a positive tactile feel and sound feedback resulting in enjoyable typing and fewer mistakes

It is not as hefty and solid as old Northgate Omnikey and IBM keyboards having similar tactile-feedback mechanical keys. It suffers from inadequate rubber base pads and flip-down stands. It is noisier than most keyboards

Finally a REAL keyboard

I bought this for home office and I am using on a KVM switch with a MAC and a PC. I liked it so much that I ordered this one for my other PC downstairs. The keys are very nice and it does not take much effort to type. This is like the old keyboards so...

Bang for the $$$

I tried out my friends black widow ultimate as well before buying this and I can say with certainty that I enjoy typing on this more. Even he admitted that he liked the feel and height of my keyboard more. As far as comparing it to the das ultimate,...

True N Key, 2 usb ports as well as mic and audio that face the rear and not the side. No cheesy leds. Perfect height and the keys feel amazing. Tactile feel you would expect from mx blues. I was looking for a mechanical keyboard that would be the most...

None, I really can't think of any negatives with this keyboard. Extremely happy with my purchase

Great for the price...

Good board. I'm sure someone makes a better one for twice the price.

Feels good. Pretty sound. Just an enjoyable keyboard

Bulky! Too bulky. the keys sit a good 1.5" off the desk. Keys have too much play...but it isn't too bad. I just happen to care about play a lot

Great. As good as Das Keyboard

Fantastic keyboard. I came from using Das Keyboard so I had high expectations. The USB hub works much better than Das Keyboard in Windows (though I've used both in Linux with no problems at all ever). I still love Das Keyboard-- mine just had worn...

USB Hub functionality (separate from PS2 connector so you can have the PS2 n-key rollover and your hub as well). Nice clicky cherry MX blue switches. Analog audio ports on top are very nice and just connect straight through. Keyboard caps have a...

None, but if I could ask for something it would be an analog audio volume knob on the keyboard. That would just be sexy

A decent keyboard

Overall I like the feel of the keyboards, but some keys like a space bar feel a bit hard to press compared to other keys. Two USB ports are on the back of the keyboard, and I have to lift up the keyboard and to plug a USB device.

Excellent Keyboard

If you have never used a mechanical keyboard before I suggest you try it out. If you hunt and peck you probably will not understand the attraction but if you type properly there will be a definite benefit.

An excellent keyboard. True n-key rollover when used in PS/2. Nice tactile feel with audible clicks. If you are a touch typist you will appreciate a keyboard that can actually keep up with you! I use mine for both work and gaming. The pass through...

The ports are labeled with a tacky sticker that will inevitably get lost. While cheaper than other mechanical keyboards - it isn't THAT much cheaper. It can get loud if you are typing quickly. Sketchy PS/2 to USB support but that should be expected

Good keyboard

I waited to write this review until after I\'d used the keyboard for a week or two. This is a very good keyboard. I\'m honestly impressed with it. I had heard fairly good things about Adesso, but hadn\'t had a product myself until now. The main thing...

Great keyboard

For those who are having trouble with the media keys you have to hold shift and then hit the media key of choice. I don't know why they didn't mention this in manual so I had to email Adesso, where they actually got back to be pretty quickly.

This is a great keyboard for it's price, I really like the audio jacks for my headphones and it's VERY sturdy

I've used it since November and the only problem I've had is the paint on the key caps are starting to fade on heavy use keys like crtl, C, R, etc

The extended tray is solid enough to hold a cup of java.

Decent price, and the type of quality you would want and expect out of a keyboard like this. Feels fairly solid, including legs for propping up the keyboard

On my keyboard, the arrow keys are not right. It came with two down arrows, one being placed into the left arrow slot. This is an somewhat trivial but disappointing mistake
