Akai LPK25

Need a tiny MIDI keyboard controller for working on music projects on the go? The Akai LPK25 ($129 list) features miniature keys, instead of regular, full-size synthesizer keys, but it's very playable. And given the unit's tiny size—perfect for a...

Very compact. Inexpensive, but feels well made. Quiet, springy key travel. Accurate velocity sensitivity.Useful Sustain and Arpeggiator buttons

No mod wheel, which can be a problem with many virtual instruments

Small but good

In conclusion, I loved the LPK25. It has a solid feeling, and it's only about as big as a laptop keyboard. I doubt I've ever seen better value for such a price. The durable build quality(I've dropp...

User review Akai LPK25 by moosers on Audiofanzine

With certainly not the best overall MIDI controller, the Akai LPK25 doesn't aim to be. It's made for those who want the portability of a MIDI keyboard for use on the stage, in the studio, or where...
