Apple Wireless Keyboard (2007)

Apple gives its keyboards a different aesthetic with each new generation it releases, and its latest Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard pushes the peripheral to the limits of space-saving design. This time, Apple discards the numeral keypad and gives it a...

Ultrathin profile; minimal footprint; simple Bluetooth pairing; top row keys offers one-touch access to popular Mac features; automatic shut off conserves energy.

Lacks number pad; small keys may feel cramped for some users.

Apple bundles its Wireless Keyboard with every new iMac because it matches the computer's strengths in terms of minimal design and simple functionality. While some may bemoan its lack of extra features, the Apple Wireless Keyboard does the job and...

Apple Wireless Keyboard

Apple's sleek-looking Wireless Keyboard aims to dress up your desktop while eliminating pesky cord clutter. But, as is the way with almost all Apple products, high style and cable liberation don't come cheap: this keyboard will set you back $70. And it...

Easy setup and Bluetooth configuration; attractive design.

Slight lag in keystrokes; requires OS X version 10.2.6 or later; pricey.

Apple's Wireless Keyboard is the perfect choice for anyone with a Bluetooth-enabled Mac. Just make sure you have the right OS first.

Apple Wireless Keyboard

The keyboard's dimensions are a trim 5 1/8 by 11 by 1/8 inches (HWD). At the top of the keyboard is a 0.8-inch barrel that arches the keyboard up a tad, serving as a riser as well as housing the batteries. The Bluetooth version of the keyboard is...

Sleek design. Thin profile with a small footprint. Bluetooth connectivity. Keys are soft, fast, and responsive. Excellent software utilities support in OS X

No number pad on the wireless version. No recharging station. Cumbersome one-button mouse. Keyboard is not ergonomic. Will work with Windows, but specialized software is not available

The Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mighty Mouse deliver simplicity and elegance, but at some cost to wrist comfort.

Apple Wireless Keyboard Review

Explaining why a keyboard is good or bad is a unique challenge, compared to other products. How a keyboard is isn't a scientific study. Instead, it's entirely based on feel and functionality, and ultimately, the keyboard that's right for you will nine...

Apple Wireless Keyboard Review

It's super thin, incredibly sleek but not suited for daily use.

Apple’s Wireless Keyboard isn’t really best suited for daily use particularly if you use your Mac for writing letters and sorting your accounting, but if you only use it to surf the web and watch videos, you might find the small form factor lucrative...

Had to self-search for applicable software update

With the green light flashing, the keyboard is paired the same as any other standard Bluetooth keyboard. Under Mac OS X, the keyboard shows up as a device under the "Setup Bluetooth Device" assistant (below top), and you are prompted to type in a...

"fair keyboard when you can get it to sync"

There are much better keyboards out there for the money that are non Apple brand.

small foot print -seems well made mechanically

Very difficult to sync occasionally. It loses its sync at various times after the computer is in Sleep mode and then you have difficulty getting it to sync again. Hard to get the keyboard into discover mode.

BUY IT! ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS!

This is the best keyboard that I ever bought and use. It's worth the money. I know what you guys are thing, it's expensive right? But it's totally worth it and I use it everyday! In fact, I'm using it now!

The keys are just the size for your fingers ; You can get used to it to first time you use it ; You can type faster than an average keyboard ; You can connect it with an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and Windows computer,...

If you don't have Bluetooth on your Windows computer, you can't really use it with your computer. But don't worry, you can buy a Bluetooth dongle from an electronic store and it costs like about what? A buck
