Update :: black starting come off

I will wait to see what response, if any, Azio may choose to make about this issue.

As I may have stated in my earlier review, it types great, key spacing is wonderful, volume knob and status indicator LEDs are great too. ...but... see cons

But, it appears that unlike my previous experience with Azio products, this keyboard is painted black and unpainted where the LED light shows through. The paint is beginning to come off, arrow keys, often used letter keys, the space bar is beginning to...

So Far So Good

Exactly what I bought. Low profile matte black keyboard with blue backlit keys. Looks and feels great. Also, I actually love the volume knob. It feels solid. For 20 bucks, you can't beat it

Nice!

I would have preferred the 3 color version that came up for sale just after I had this one. No big deal.

I like the back lit keys. I don't know all of the keys by touch typing so it is necessary to be able to see the other keys when I need them in a hurry for gaming. This keyboard is fully as good as the microsoft keyboard it replaced

The "4" key on the numeric keypad sticks just ever so slightly

This is nice.!

Keys are lit at a good level instead of blindingly. Additionally, having that volume knob up top is one of those things that .. once you have it, you don't want to be without. And, the wrist rest is pretty nice as well. I'd bumped mine off and none of...

Great keyboard for everyday use

I got this for a backup keyboard for my Cherry Blue mechanical one. I have grown fond of the tall keys and perfect tension of this one and am still using it. The reinforcement on where the cable enters the keyboard is thick, that's often what fails...

Great keyboard. My fingers glide over it. Reinforced cable. Great mechanical replacement. I like the price

AZIO KB501 L70 Backlit Gaming Keyboard

Got it yesterday. Solid, keys feel good. I was pleasantly surprised at the apparent quality. Am not a gamer, justed wanted something to help me see keys in the evening which this does nicely. The volume control is a nice bonus. Under $20 and 2 day...

Have to wait to see if it holds up

Excellent Keyboard

A simple illuminated keyboard that is comfortable. No macro keys (for some this is considered cheating) Nice volume "knob". The lights (as others have stated) are perfect , not too bright. The palm rest is nice and big. The blue matches with my blue...

Keys are not thoroughly painted

I probably prefer a white or red light. The blue is playing tricks with my eyes like psychedelic. Key tops should be lacquered for durability. I know the paint will wear off in no time with dirty fingers or long finger nails.

Volume knob is a standout over volume buttons. Illumination is ok, but I don't like blue light. Key presses is ok but I have a 17 year old keyboard that is smoother

Mediocre 2 layer paint job. First layer is silver and topped off with black paint. They laser etch the black to reveal silver characters. Some key edges are grayish in tone due to the fact they didn't get fully painted black. You can even see the...
