Belkin Keyboard Folio for iPad 2

The Belkin Keyboard Folio for iPad 2 adds a physical Bluetooth keyboard to your iPad, and though it's bulky, it's the best iPad case/keyboard combo we've tested.

Excellent-feeling keyboard. Plenty of iPad-specific keys

Hefty. Oddly difficult to open and close

Belkin Keyboard Folio for iPad2

To own an iPad is to wonder, "Could I do all my work on it?" While the onscreen keyboard on an iPad is surprisingly functional, die-hard writers will crave a Bluetooth keyboard or a keyboard case , of which there are several good examples out there....

Despite being a keyboard case, the Belkin Keyboard Folio for iPad 2 can also be used in folio mode without the keyboard getting in the way much, plus the keyboard itself is excellent and responsive.

The slightly floppy, flappy design might not appeal to some; also, when the iPad 2 is in the case, it's much thicker than a regular case without a keyboard.

The Belkin Keyboard Folio for the iPad 2 is a strangely designed but surprisingly smart keyboard case with a strong keyboard and a flexible set of versatile transforming shapes for everyday use, although you might be annoyed by its thickness.

Reviews: Belkin Keyboard Folio for iPad 2

Keyboard Folio is almost identical to the company's earlier Slim Folio Stand, with the obvious addition of the keyboard that makes it incredibly long when unfolded—about 27.5” total—and thicker. There are a few other small differences, though: the blue...

At the end of our review of Slim Folio Stand, we said “We hope that Belkin does refine this case in the future, as it has serious potential to improve.” Unfortunately, the company didn’t take this opportunity to change the housing in any positive way;...

overall, i would rate the case a 8/10 and the keyboard would definitely easily be a 10/10 if you want a nice case with out the bulkiness, then just get a nice case without the keyboard, but if you want a case the fold up nice and has ... Expand full...

feels nice in my hands while carrying it ; keyboard is nice and keys are nicely spaced and responsive to typing ; keyboard folds back and tucked in nicely when not in use and fold out nicely when needed ; material of the case is better than i thought...

case was just a little bulkier than expected ; design could of been much better with the case

"Attractive case, great keyboard, somewhat bulky."

Very good but heavy case with a minor quirk in the pairing process.

It's easy to use; it's professional looking; it works well with the iPad2

The install guide says you pair only once but you have to pair the keyboard and the iPad every time you use them. A call to customer service got this response:
