Cooler Master Storm Quick Fire Rapid review

A small but perfectly formed mechanical gaming keyboard

Great build quality ; Mechanical keys ; Anti-ghosting ; Looks good ; Portable

No NUM pad

Solid Keyboard

I needed a basic compact keyboard for my computer build (space restrictions on desk). This fit my needs perfectly. The media keys are a plus, although I wouldn't mind if they were necessarily there. It would be nice if this was available with heavier...

Solid build quality ; Braided Cable ; Location of cable connection on bottom of keyboard virtually eliminates the possibility of accidentally snapping the cable at the connection

Back feet not rubberized. Although this does not bother me, it may matter for someone else

My Dream Keyboard

The keyboard is a bit warped when it arrive, so you have to bend it back to place for it to stand on your table evenly. (Not a problem)

A keyboard that is very well designed. It's solid, simple yet sleek. I love the missing numpad. The keys has a nice contour and a nice solid feel. They The keyboard also has a very nice solid rubber feet grip

The braided cable is surprisingly fragile. I use this keyboard at home and never move it. It became unreliable after a month; The keyboard will not be powered and there's no obvious sign of damage. Therefore I have to readjust it randomly to find the...

Good keyboard at a good price

Cherry MX switches feel great, sleek design, all keys are working fine and the build quality feels very good. Good price for a quality mechanical keyboard

The included USB to PS/2 adapter stopped working after a week. Not a big deal to me since 6KRO is fine for my purposes, however it means I'm down a USB slot

Good keyboard

Good keyboard for gaming. Made a noticeable difference right away, much more responsive. Braided USB cord is really durable. Good price

Great for gaming, not ideal for typing. If this were backlit and wireless, I would give 5 stars

Feels great, quieter than my Ducky

he letters on my Ducky are showing signs of fading. I will see how the CM storm lasts before updating my review on NewEgg.

This keyboard feels great for typing. My first mech. kbd was the ducky zero with CherryMX browns. The CM QuickFire Rapid feels very similar and comes at about the same price range. The build quality is great as well ; This one is quieter than the...

None that I am aware of at preset. T

Re-review, new model

I had a bad "p" key on my previous model. The manufacturer returned it with no issues and replacement was fairly quick. However the board I got back was the "newer" model of the one I had. I doesn't seem as well built, and the keys are more noisy and...

Small, compact ; All black look is cool ; Comes with key puller ; Comes with red keys to replace WASD which look pretty cool ; Board feels heavy and solid

Keys don't feel solid (the board itself does, though) ; Keys are loud ; Newer model (replaced my other one) doesn't feel like it is built with the same quality

Quality Issues

Have purchased other coolermaster items before such as a HAF X and had no issues which is why I repeated business. Not planning on using this brand again if quality control cannot get items to last 2 years, and by many of these reviews I suppose I am...

Used to be a good brand ; Key's felt great while it lasted

Purchased 8/23/12, stopped working 5/14/2014 ; I use it around 20 hours a week. I have unplugged the usb twice in memory, and never have roughly handled it. As other users have commented keys randomly stick on, and its totally unusable. Some keys only...

Nice

Great keyboard, nice sale price on the Brown switch version

The LEDs are way too bright for me, especially considering that the F9 key (the Win key disabler) will be lit up 100% of the time when I am gaming. I've placed black tape over them, and they now glow at an acceptable brightness. I am picky, though, and...
