Good for gaming, not so much for typing

I tested this keyboard out both at home gaming, and then I brought it to work to use in a business environment. This obviously isn't a keyboard marketed towards a business environment, but being an IT geek I like to bring my toys to work with me and...

The RGB LED backlighting enables you to choose from a handful of preset key backlighting, or create your own custom color. Along with the nearly unlimited color choices you get the ability to choose three different brightness settings, or completely...

Although the backlighting is pretty cool, it needs to be about twice the brightness and more evenly lit. Certain colors make some keys hard to read since the lighting is somewhat uneven. The keys themselves would greatly benefit from having diffusers...

Not a mechanical keyboard

For the price of the unit you could buy certain mechanical keyboard, but I believe that would be a waste. This keyboard has a great tactical feel to it, looks cool, and after a bit of programming the G Keys become your best friend. This is my first...

The keyboard is NOT mechanical, which I appreciate. The feel of each button press is solid and there is not a doubt that you are hitting them and making contact. The noise obviously is quieter than a mechanical keyboard which many people might enjoy ;...

The software for the program does not come included in the package. You have to go to Corsair's website to download it manually. It was easy enough to find, but in 2013 is it really needed to go to the manufactors website for software? A CD/DVD...

Not too shabby!

Overall a decent buy. If your willing to put in some time to figure the software out, and covet macro and programmable keys that are all back-lit, this may be for you. If the large size of a keyboard and non-user friendly software irk you, look elsewhere.

When I first opened the box of the k50 my first thought was, "Wow, this is a large keyboard!" Even after using it for a while I still think it is large but once it's on your desk it should fit just fine (I merely had to move a couple of items on my...

I really wasn't initially a fan of the size of the board. It's about 20'' across. For me, it was just moving a few things but for some, this may not be feasible ; The software that controls this leaves something to be desired. I had no crashes running...

Yay... sort of.

As dissapointing as the keyboard not working in bios/grub is, it's still an amazing keyboard. I would buy it, but beware that it might not work when you boot up, so have a "boot keyboard" just in case.

Fast keys that have a really good feel to them, whatever color you feel like (with a few exceptions, see cons), and feels really sturdy and is mostly good to type on (see cons)

First off, the colors seem a little wonky. They never quite seem to turn out what they look like on the screen, and shoving blue to max and the others to min gives a purpleish light, maybe it's just my eyes ; Secondly, the keys are a little oddly...

Raptor K50

It really is outstanding

I absolutely love this keyboard. I received it nearly 2 weeks ago and have been using it constantly since. So far no hiccups, no errors, no breaks, no defaults. This is an extremely smooth and sophisticated keyboard, but we’ll get into the specifics...

I do wish that the macro switch and brightness control would tune to the LED settings, but this is a tiny complaint

awesome keyboard

I want to start off by saying how amazing this keyboard is, love it. Build quality is superb, bar none. It has almost the same features as the k95 except that its a membrane kb. It looks very clean and fancy.has a scroll for volume controll which is...

Love it

Three things I needed from a keyboard: USB pass-through, backlighting and a wrist rest. I stumbled across this particular keyboard by Corsair, which is brand-new as of July 2013. Important to note...this is a membrane keyboard, though it has the same...

Backlighting, Wrist rest (easily detachable), USB pass-through, Sturdy, 4 adjustable feet (2 at front, 2 at back), Open (no molding around the outer keys, making cleaning with compressed air easy.)

Not a con for me, but this is a membrane keyboard, which may not work for some
