Corsair Vengeance K90 Review

The keyboard might be one of the most ignored pieces of hardware for PCs, even though it's among those most interacted with. Everyday PC users tend to skimp on keyboards and mice, but it's the gamers who are particular about their peripherals. Mice...

The Corsair Vengeance V90 sells for a price of Rs. 7,280, which in our opinion is very expensive for a keyboard. Sure, it is a great performing keyboard, and is built really well, but this is something we’d recommend to someone who’s got a really...

Corsair Vengeance K90 Gaming Keyboard

The Vengeance K90 is made of a combination of brushed silver aluminum and black plastic, creating a two-toned design. The included palm rest is detachable. The keyboard is full-sized with traditional keys—as opposed to chiclet, which has become so...

Corsair Vengeance K90 MMO Keyboard Review

Over the years, Corsair has made us realize just how seriously it takes its products. With the launch of its first Vengeance gaming peripherals, we expected to see a continuation of this top-rate quality, but so far, things have been a little hit or...

The software is still the same as what we dealt with for the M60 review, the 2.12 beta release, which means it still has the same limitations, though fortunately no partial bricking this time.

Corsair Vengeance K90 Keyboard

Mechanical keyboards are all the buzz recently with nearly every major manufacture releasing their own take on this very old technology. Many of these keyboards are aimed at the gaming community, promising better feedback and usually something along...

High power USB 2.0 port (+500mA); Windows 7, Vista, or XP; 35MB of hard disk space; Two open USB ports. One for board, one for pass-through

Corsair Vengeance K90 MMO Gaming Keyboard Review →

Corsair Vengeance K90 raises the bar to new heights for gaming and mechanical keyboards alike, but could stand to lose its dome-switched function keys that greatly diminish the backlighting and feel. A driver and firmware update couldn't hurt either.

Individually-backlit typewriter keys ; Cherry MX mechanical keyswitches ; 18 macro keys with 3 shift states ; Dedicated media controls ; Smooth volume roller ; Full wrist rest included ; Windows key lockout ; Standard 104-key layout ; Rear-mounted USB...

Membrane dome-switched function keys ; Current firmware results in occasional repeating key ; Backlight for function keys is very dim ; USB port is single-port passthrough ; Lacks the reverse tilt of the K60 ; Only available with Cherry MX Red...

Corsair Vengeance K90 Keyboard Review

Corsair releases a mechanical keyboard for RPGs and strategy games within the new Vengeance brand. Check out our test.

Elegant illumination with intensity control ; Great number of macro choices ; High precision mechanical keys ; Easy to clean ; USB port on the backside ; Blue connectors are easy to spot

Crowded macro key pad ; Macro keys could also be mechanical ; Mechanical typing can get tiresome

Corsair Vengeance K90 Mechanical Keyboard

Having reviewed many keyboards it suprised me how excited I was to review the Corsair Vengeance K90. With its unique design, Cherry MX Red switches, and as Corsairs first foray into the keyboard market I found the K90 to be a interesting prospect in a...

Mechanical Design ; Linear force profile ; Quiet design ; Beautiful brushed aluminum exterior ; Easy to use software ; 20KRO instead of typical 6KRO for USB keyboards

The function keys and G-keys use rubber dome switches ; Very expensive keyboard

Performance in a keyboard is about being able to type and game without the peripheral holding the enthusiast back. Thankfully, the Corsair K90 performs admirably in both gaming and typing because the Cherry MX Red mechanical switches are great to type...

Need lots of macros? This keyboard is pretty good.

Typing on this keyboard is pretty good because the main keyboard keys use mechanical switches. Unfortunately the macro keys, function keys and the keys in the (INS, HOME, DEL) keypad don't. There are 18 macro keys and three shift levels for more macros...

Three levels of 18 macro keys, Cherry Red mechanical keyboard switches, adjustable blue backlights, aluminum chassis. Nice volume control and media switches

Software is a little primitive (but they keep updating it and it works). One backlight on my test unit died (under the left shift key), not all the keys are mechanical

not bad but not perfect

not bad overall, but those "F" keys and sticking or repeating keys and the higher price keeps this from a 5 egg rating for me.

Great overall keyboard, nice solid build, firm keys. Has good features like programmable keys, lighting options

very loud key clicks! I hate to ever touch this keyboard if I'm on the phone, and while voice chatting with fellow gamers this keyboard is so annoying every time I talk there's always loud key clicks in the background. Wish it was less expensive, then...
