Corsair Vengeance K95

The Corsair Vengeance K95 gaming keyboard combines sophisticated design and extensive gaming features for one of the best keyboards we've seen for either gaming or professional use.

High-quality mechanical keyboard is great for gaming or typing. Individual key backlighting. Numerous programmable macros. Built-in media controls. Detachable palmrest. Solid aluminum construction

No color options for backlight. Pricey

Corsair is back with a Vengeance, and I couldn't be happier. The Corsair Vengeance K95 ($149.99) replaces the Corsair Vengeance K90 as the company's premier gaming keyboard, and the mechanical keyboard keeps nearly everything I loved about the original...

Corsair Vengeance K95

The Corsair Vengeance K95 is the ideal companion for PC gamers. Compare the best gaming keyboards at TopTenREVIEWS.

You can toggle the LED underneath every key individually, and the brushed aluminum housing outlasts most other keyboards

This keyboard lacks color LEDs

For a solid mechanical keyboard that can keep up with your gaming needs, there is no better option than the K95.

Corsair Vengeance K95 Review

The flagship mechanical keyboard from Corsair is here, featuring 18 macro keys, key-by-key illumination and Cherry MX Red switches.

Fully featured ; Mechanical Switches ; 18 Macro Keys (all mechanical) ; Per-key backlighting, including macro keys, for personalised configurations ; Easy-switch on board profiles ; Multiple lighting modes ; Brushed-Aluminium chassis

Sometimes we have to tie ourselves in knots to explain our findings and justify our awards, but for the first time in a while that’s not the case. The Vengeance K95 is just that good.

Keys Die

Wouldn't recommend due to dead lights.

Good mechanical keyboard. Satisfying to type on

36 of the led lights have died

Good Keyboard, but has issues

Overall, if you're looking for a great keyboard to actually type on, this is a great one. If you're looking for something that all the features are going to last, you may want to look elsewhere.

Awesome typing feel ; Wonderful key action for typing (I'm a developer so I'm also typing) ; Good feature set ; Volume wheel is awesome

Backlighting - I've had the keyboard for roughly 3 months now, and the light under the "I' and the down arrow keys have quit working. It doesn't seem to affect that type typing at all, but with the cost of this keyboard, I would have expected more than...

Three months old and three lighted keys are already dead.. I'm not even a gamer.. I just wanted a nice lighted keyboard.. Also its extremely loud when typing..

Looks Good

Garbage quality lighting for keys

Consumer review by:

Really good

This is an amazing keyboard I could instantly fee the difference in everything i did. It was easier to push down keys the lighting was bright. The keyboard felt good. The volume roller is very nice. NO DEAD LEDS

The keyboard died after 8 months. This keyboard collects material like crazy and needs air to clean out or removal of the keys. The software doesn't always save macros to internal memory

Coffee spill made it non-functional

The metal keyboard tray and main circuit board are basically bonded together meaning you can't see / clean / fix any problems. Also the lack of a protective coating on a lot of exposed conductors means spills and/or dirt will eventually cause parts of...

Nice mechanical keyboard with lighting. Enjoyed it until a spill caused it to fail and exposed design deficiencies

Poor design means it is very hard to impossible to repair or even clean after a spill leaves a key repeating continuously

Buy it for the macro keys

The one mod I made to the board is to install o-rings on the three main rows of the keyboard (alphabet & punctuation keys) --- I like the slightly softer feel and typing is much quieter, which my wife appreciates when I'm working late at night.

After a little more than a year with my K95, I’m very happy with it. The board has a solid feel, I type fast and comfortably with the Cherry red key switches. and the media controls are very convenient. But the feature that makes the board for me is...

Lots of people have had trouble with the led backlighting. I don’t use the lights and keep them turned off, so I wouldn’t know if they were working or not (last time I checked, they all were)

Great all around, except the LEDs

As I'm writing this review, I've owned this keyboard for almost exactly 6 months. Two weeks ago, the G5's LED went out. Last week the G8's LED went out as well. Today, I turn on the backlighting to notice the G1, G13, G15, and the 0 LEDs have all died....

Excellent build quality ; Very responsive ; Highly customizable ; Amazing feel

The LEDs die quick ; While the extra G keys are great and all, they don't serve much of a purpose while gaming. However, they serve a great purpose for general things inside miscellaneous programs, such as Photoshop. (Great for macro-ing shortcuts to...
