Musical Keys

The Creative Prodikeys cleverly combines a musical keyboard with a computer keyboard. When you aren't using the keys for everyday computing, they control software-based samples called SoundFonts, which produce high-quality instrument sounds. The...

Great

This is my first midi device, and I have to say I love it

Works great in xp, fl studio ; low price

Seems to uninstall itself in vista, even after I figured out how to install (open CD, right click setup, run in compatibility mode XP SP2, then install a registry file that you can find on the Creative forums)

Good for Beginners

I would recommend this to XP users only due to the Vista drivers being so hard to find

easy setup, works with most audio workstations, FL Studios, Cakewalk, etc etc....with the right VST's this thing can actually sound pretty amazing..keyboard works great, i'm using it now in Vista

Pain in the tail to find Vista drivers, but can be found in the Creative forums..the driver is not digitally signed but that's ok, it works anyway

Does Not Work

This keyboard does not work in Vista, it is a waste of money, and Creative does not care to release Vista drivers. Stay away from this keyboard, and DO NOT BUY CREATIVE PRODUCTS!

A computer keyboard, and a midi keyboard all-in-one. This product has the potential to be amazing

Too bad it doesn't work in Windows Vista. They are selling this same keyboard in Asia and Europe, and they are shipping it with a Vista Driver CD.. however, they do not ship the Vista CD to customers in America. They also do not offer any Vista drivers...

Creative Prodikeys PC-MIDI Gray/Black 104 Normal Keys 17 + 37 mini-sized music keys Function Keys USB Slim Keyboard

I think this product would be better for children as opposed to adults. If you are a gamer and are looking to pound on a keyboard, I'd suggest you invest a bit more and go for a seperate 49 key controller/synth.

Price: You really can't go wrong for under 50 bucks. It's a midi controller that works fine in most studio software. And is a great tool for learning scales ; It looks cool

Computer keyboard: The keys get stuck, and it is awkward to type on ; Keys are pretty hard to see in low-light ; I've had this model for about 4 months, and already one of the d#s has come lose ; The keyboard is cramped, and once you learn a certain...

How to describe?

It's nice. I like mine. It combines two things I need on my desktop, and does a fairly good job at being both. But, expect neither part to be perfect. But, for every day use it's great.

It's an inexpensive MIDI controller attached to a keyboard. It saves space on my desk, and is relatively easy to use. The build quality is nice enough that you won't think it's 'cheap

That being said, both keyboards could be better. For typing, there's nothing REALLY wrong with this, but the keys are shallow, and laptop-like. That is a con, in my opinion ; They're quiet, and have a decent feel to them, and are quite solid, but they...
