fail do not buy

Very disappointed because i've used saitek keyboards for about 6 years now with no problems at all and now this. screw saitek

worked flawlessly for about 11 months

then about 8 or 9 keys died and they dont have support basically. They don't respond to emails and their so called tech support line just plays elevator music for 20 mins or so and then hangs up on you

Sweet but not fully functional

I bought mine on e bay and it was listed as brand new, When I got it several keys didn't work and the seller didn't respond to my emails to replace it even though his listing stated to contact him with any problems. I keep hitting the caps lock key...

Backlit keys ; media controls ; brightness and color adjustments ; adjustable rake ; detachable wrist rest ; headphone and mic pass thru ; Disable the windows key in Cyborg Mode

USB passthrough is only USB 1.1 not 2.0 ; Several keys didn't work right out of the box ; the lowest brightness setting is rather bright and it just gets brighter ; Software is a pain, I can't figure out what I can program the side buttons for or how...

Good for first year

Only get this keyboard if you plan to replace it soon. The features are nice but hardly long lasting. NOTiCE HOW THE WARRANTY iS ONLY A YEAR. oh and btw i have to copy paste the letters i need most often

The keyboard worked well for the first year i was using it. No problems, i reviewed the keyboard b4 with 5 eggs for satisfaction

After about a year they keys started going, first the eight, second it was the shift and 2(they only work backwards 2 then shift), then after that the comma, then after that the i, and near the same time went the k. So at any point if i want to type a...

Up to par

If u play EVE-Online this keyboard is great and like being able to see what you are typing at night without the use of lamp near your desk then I recommend this product.

The backlighting is great and the does most of what I want it to do with ease

After about 2 weeks my "number three" key went out on me and now the letter "C" is starting to go aswell. Not to mention that the micro key instructions aren't for this keyboard and are kinda hard to get to work for new users

Super cool!

If you want the coolest looking keyboard out there - this is it. I don't like logitech's - wow so it has a screen on it... isn't that what your monitor is for?

I love this thing, looks like it was ripped out of a klingon ship's console. The customizable back-lighting for each keyboard region - frikkin awesome

didn't come with a klingon ship

Expected more

Keyboards should type well first, add features later. I also have a saitek eclipse keyboard, and that types a lot. I mean a lot better. Better than my 8 dollar keyboard, like this one should, but doesn't.

The lights are nice. I like the customization of the locations and the different colors you can choose for each area. The macros on the left hand are useful for certain situations making it easier to game. Disabling the windows key with a button press...

I gave it such a low score because it doesn't do what it is. The keys take quite a bit of force to register. When i first got it I thought the game i was playing had a bad user interface because the map wouldn't register when I would press M. But i...

Unless one has customized their PC and ran their front Mic/Speaker ports through their Sound Card (Thus making it so they can switch audio receiving/output ports while keeping cables plugged into the back of the PC while their are cables in the front)...

This keyboard is an ideal example of perfection ; The Saitek provides fantastic software coupled with a phenomenal device ; To Elaborate ; Despite rigorous usage the keys each still resemble their letters, with no removal of paint ; A brilliant...

Although a great product it still is coupled with some noteworthy negativities ; To Elaborate ; The programmable key lights are sadly located facing towards the inside of the keyboard, when they should be placed onto the keys (allowing 1" closer access...
