Works as advertised

I can't run it through the dishwasher to clean it.

I love this keyboard. Cheap simple and pressing the buttons feels oh so perfect. Standard PS/2 so no dumb drivers are needed

Why can't they make 6' cords

LITE-ON SK-1788

This keyboard is not too bad, only going to take an egg for the over springy keys. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking for a cheap one to finish off a system build

Best Budget Keyboard

This really is my favorite budget keyboard. I love using this for various builds when I can't use a nice mechanical keyboard.

Responsive ; PS/2 ; Attractive

still works

Just gave this away today. Kept it as a spare after using it for several years and then storing it for just as long. Nothing is made like this anymore.

Durable. Still works after almost 10 years of abuse

I do not understand all the gimmicks that are out there when it comes to computer peripherals. This is a great no nonsense, bare bones keyboard that is becoming harder and harder to come by anymore. There's no need for a wireless keyboard as my stomach...

A Redundant Review

As many other reviewers have said, for a basic keyboard, this is a very nice product. The price is dirt cheap. the build is solid, it feels nice to type on, etc. I purchased this for a secondary (for guests) gaming computer, so that I would also have a...

Cheap ; Basic with PS/2 ; Solid build ; Nice feel to typing

One of the Best Budget Keyboards Available!!

I've had this keyboard for almost 10 years. My friends have had high end gaming keyboards that died on then after a few months, so it is amazing that this thing is still working great. I have had this keyboard since I first built a PC when I was 13. It...

Cheap, Easy to use, high quality, lasts FOREVER

So light that it moves WAY too easily

Going strong after almost 9 years

I bought this in September 2004 and it has been in use ever since, first on my PC and now on the family room PC. I just had a guest comment that she liked using it. My kids use this keyboard nearly every day for homework and gaming so it hasn't had an...

Cheap, Reliable, OK keyboard feel

PS/2 only

How do they do it?

It doesn't pretend to be a nice high-tech keyboard. But I am still amazed how Lite-On can provide such an utterly decent basic keyboard for under $9!! How do they do it?

Good key feel and response; Decent quality; extremely cheap! Hoghly recommend for basic use
