Logitech diNovo Keyboard (Mac Edition)

If you're picky about your keyboards, the Logitech diNovo Keyboard for Mac has plenty to offer, including programmable hot keys, but if you're not so particular, you can get a comparable device for less.

Spacious palm rest. Matches the Mac aesthetic. Impressive wireless range. Programmable function keys. Works without loading included software

Tricky to sync the first time. Expensive. Receiver takes up USB port

Logitech diNovo Keyboard Mac Edition

The Logitech diNovo Mac Edition keyboard offers Mac users a viable alternative to Apple's brand of peripherals. Like many of the other keyboards in the Logitech stable, the diNovo Mac Edition uses Logitech's PerfectStroke system to ensure precision and...

Elegant finish; Mac-specific shortcut keys; comfortable typing experience; easy plug-and-play design.

Expensive; lacks illuminated keys and integrated USB ports; no control over wrist angle.

The Logitech diNovo Mac Edition looks sexy and is comfortable for typing, but it's a pricey upgrade for a keyboard that lacks integrated USB ports and backlit keys.

Review: diNovo Keyboard Mac Edition

The diNovo Mac Edition looks like a basic keyboard, but its outstanding key feel, low profile, reliable wireless connectivity, slew of programmable F-keys, and an attractive design make it one of the best Mac keyboards on the market.

Like the Edge, the standard diNovo Mac features an aluminum wrist rest that tapers gently to avoid sharp edges, but the diNovo omits the Edge's more-expensive plexiglass casing in favor of glossy-black plastic. The diNovo also loses the Edge's...

"Of course not USB ports.."

What an idiotic statement about there not being a built in USB port - On Wireless Keyboard! ! ! How uninformed about life are these people when something like that is made ? It's like saying, a VW Rabbit has an insufficient Tow package...Of course it...

Don't really care about how it works or if I even like t.

No issues - I don't even own one..ha

"Fatal flaws."

It makes a good initial impression, but don't be surprised if the honeymoon is short-lived and your attachment to your original Mac keyboard goes up accordingly.

Deeper keys with curved surface. More like a regular typewriter than the chiclet-style of Mac keyboards.

One key has fallen out several times during the first several months of use. The keyboard does not strike me as solidly built, either overall or in the details, compared to the original-equipment iMac keyboard.
